Dr. Ernest Santoro, III, DPT

Achieve Therapy is an out-patient physical therapy provider, specializing in direct one-on-one care.

Dr. Santoro earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University in New York in 2010 after having graduated Magna Cum Laude with his B.S. in Health and Science Studies with minors in English and Biology from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT in 2007.

During the course of his career, Dr. Santoro quickly rose from a staff level Physical Therapist to Director of Operations for Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Specializing in the use of Manual Therapy and differential diagnosis, he has rehabilitated patients in a variety of healthcare settings with a wide range of post-operative, orthopedic, neurological and cardiovascular conditions.

Priding himself in one-on-one direct patient care and individualized treatment programs, Dr. Santoro felt the need to develop and grow a practice to serve the people of North Haven, CT and the surrounding communities. Achieve Therapy delivers a variety of physical therapy services tailored to your needs, including manual therapy, post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation, medial exercise therapy, and fall prevention.

I think the thing that is very impressive about Achieve Therapy and Dr. Santoro, is his attention to his patients. Unlike most other places in the area, Dr. Santoro does not schedule more than one person every 45-60 minutes and he doesn’t double book his patient appointments. I went through Physical Therapy at other bigger places and was always being seen with at least two or three other patients at the same time….but not at Achieve Therapy! Hopefully, I never get hurt again, but if I do, I’m going back to see Dr. Santoro.
